Dragon-Boat Racing @ Shipyard, Korneuburg

Also this year, the annual dragon boat races championchip took place at the shipyard in Korneuburg.

Of course one of the locally based companies couldn´t miss and so the Gastechnik Himmel GmbH started at the race for the first time.

In face of the enormous contract volume and to less training for the race the GTH got the respectable 14th place. We speak of respectable if we take a look at the other participants. 40 Teams - consistently memebers of the Fire Department or the volunteer fire department as well as teams who were already familiar with the events cycle.

But true the motto - Being there is everyting! - You look just as happy about this position as any other!

The relaxed atmosphere and the numerous stands with food & wine have constributed a successful "business trip".

When asked whether the GTH will attend 2012: "Of course we are!"
